Kolar, Feb. 11 -- In a sharp and layered political broadside, Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Council Chalavadi Narayanaswamy on Wednesday accused the ruling Congress of aligning with "Urban Naxals", presiding over corruption in the name of Mahatma Gandhi, and developing a "fever" over the inclusion of 'Ram' in a renamed rural livelihood mission.
Addressing reporters here, Narayanaswamy mounted what appeared to be a multi-front ideological attack - blending constitutional propriety, welfare politics and religious symbolism into a single line of criticism against the state government.
