Bengaluru, Oct. 18 -- Opposition leader Chalavadi Narayanaswamy today criticised the denial of permission for the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) procession in Chitapur, alleging it reflected administrative high-handedness and the mismanagement of Minister Priyank Kharge.

Speaking to media at the BJP state office, he condemned the local administration for demanding around Rs 6,000 for approval, later rejecting the application and removing banners and buntings, calling the move unjust and politically motivated.

Narayanaswamy clarified that RSS is not a political party but a public organisation, and anyone can participate.
