Imphal, Aug. 8 -- Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) residing at the Urup OBC Girls Hostel Relief Camp in Imphal East received looms and bicycles today as part of a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative supported by Powergrid Corporation of India Limited, a Government of India enterprise.
The distribution was led by the Sub-Divisional Officer of Keirao Bitra, Laishram Roshan Singh, under the guidance of the Deputy Commissioner, Imphal East. The initiative aims to support the rehabilitation and empowerment of IDPs by improving their livelihood opportunities and access to mobility.
