New Delhi, Oct. 9 -- Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla today called on parliamentarians from Commonwealth nations to promote the responsible and ethical use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) while bridging the digital divide through technology. Addressing the 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Conference in Barbados, Birla emphasized that cooperation and knowledge-sharing are key to ensuring that technology becomes a bridge, not a barrier.
"Through cooperation and knowledge-sharing, we can ensure that technology becomes a bridge, not a barrier," Birla said, chairing a workshop on 'Leveraging Technology: Enhancing Democracy through Digital Transformations and Tackling the Digital Divide.
