Dimapur, Feb. 5 -- Nagaland's Lok Sabha MP S Supongmeren Jamir highlighted the serious staff shortages in central broadcasting institutions in Nagaland in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday.
Raising the issue under Rule 377, Jamir said the long-standing recruitment issues have adversely affected eligible candidates from Nagaland in the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) examinations.
He said as per the Employment News/Rozgar Samachar notification dated March 23, 2013, the SSC had advertised vacancies for 15 posts of programme executive and transmission executive (production assistant) for Doordarshan and All India Radio in Nagaland.
