New Delhi, Aug. 4 -- The Lok Sabha proceedings were adjourned until 2 pm today following an uproar by Opposition members, who demanded a discussion on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process in Bihar.
As soon as the House met for the day at 11 am and Speaker Om Birla began the question hour, Opposition members stormed into the well of the House, shouting slogans.
Some members were also carrying placards with slogans opposing the SIR process.
Amid the chaos, Birla called a member to ask a question, which was answered by Union Minister Labour and Employment Mansukh Mandaviya.
