New Delhi, Feb. 10 -- The Lok Sabha was adjourned sine die on Saturday as Budget session of the Parliament concluded.

On this occasion, presiding over the proceedings of the House, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said that the 17th Lok Sabha which held its first meeting on June 17, 2019 has been historic in various ways.

The work productivity of the 17th Lok Sabha stood at 97%, the highest among the last five Lok Sabhas.

Om Birla said that a total of 274 sittings were held in the 17th Lok Sabha which lasted for 1,354 hours.

"In the 17th Lok Sabha, the House sat for 345 hours more than the scheduled time and did its work," Birla said.
