Chennai, Jan. 20 -- Barely an hour after Governor R N Ravi walked out of the Tamil Nadu Assembly withoutdelivering his customary New Year Address to the House prepared by the DMK government, the Lok Bhavan onTuesday justified it saying the Nationa, Anthem was not recited at the commencement of the session and and thatthe address contained numerous unsubstantiated and misleading claims and ignored several issues of grave publicconcern.
In a statement, the Lok Bhavan listed out 13 reasons as to why the Governor declined reading the Governmentprepared speech in the Assembly.
It said the Governor's mike was repeatedly switched off and he was not allowed to speak.
