Kangra, Oct. 30 -- Several residents, led by former Nalagarh MLA Lakhwinder Singh Rana, expressed strong resentment at the Kangra police station, questioning the functioning of the police and demanding justice for the family of Ram Gopal, a Nalagarh resident who lost his life in a road accident in Kangra nearly 55 days ago.
The protesters alleged that despite the passage of almost two months, the police have failed to identify or arrest the culprit responsible for the accident. They said Ram Gopal's family belongs to a poor background and has been waiting in vain for justice.
