Hamirpur (HP), Sept. 20 -- While claiming that loans worth Rs 610.93 crore have been disbursed among the people during the first quarter of the current financial year, Deputy Commissioner Amarjeet Singh has asked bankers to be liberal in granting loans under various schemes to uplift the standard of living of the people.
Singh said here last night that under the Annual Credit Plan for the financial year 2025-26, a loan allocation target of Rs 2,282.16 crore has been set for the district.
He was speaking during a district-level review committee and bank advisory committee meeting that reviewed the achievements of the first quarter of the current financial year, which ended on June 30.
