London, April 28 -- Liverpool was confirmed as the winner of the 2024-25 Premier League title following a comfortable 5-1 win at home to Tottenham Hotspur.
Luis Diaz, Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo turned the score around in the first half after former Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke had put Tottenham ahead in the 12th minute on Sunday.
Mohamed Salah scored Liverpool's fourth goal 20 minutes into the second half to start the celebrations in Anfield, with an own goal making it 5-1.
The club's 24th league title follows the one it won under Jurgen Klopp in the 2019-20 campaign
and comes in Arne Slot's first season since replacing the popular German last summer.
