London, Aug. 8 -- Liverpool coach Arne Slot prefers not to talk about the possible arrival of striker Alexander Isak from Newcastle United, although he admitted that Darwin Nunez could be on his way out of the club.
Isak is currently training on his own at Newcastle after the club turned down an initial Liverpool offer of over 100 million pounds (about 134 million U.S. dollars) for the Premier League's top scorer last season.
Liverpool looks certain to return with an improved offer for Isak, but speaking in his press conference ahead of this weekend's Conference Shield season opener against Crystal Palace, Slot preferred not to discuss a player who still belongs to another club.
