Patna, April 17 -- After the formation of a new BJP-led government in Bihar, a fresh debate has emerged over the state's prohibition law.
Soon after Samrat Choudhary took oath as Chief Minister, NDA ally Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) MLA Madhav Anand reiterated his demand to review and abolish the law. JD(U) MLA from Mokama, Anant Singh, has now also strongly called for an end to prohibition.
Anant Singh said on Friday that he met the Chief Minister and emphasised the need to scrap prohibition in the state.
