Puri, May 26 -- A meeting held between the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee, and Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) Director General Dr Yaduvendra Singh Rawat discussed setting up of lightning arrestors for the high-rise subsidiary temples like Bimala, Mahalaxmi, Bhubaneswari, Adi Nrusingha, and Surya Temples inside the Sri Jagannath temple complex in Puri.

The meeting held on Saturday also decided to conduct chemical cleaning and surface treatment of the outer stone surfaces of the main temple.

The meeting focused on collaborative initiatives to preserve the temple's architectural heritage, structural integrity, and cultural significance.
