Ranchi, Sept. 22 -- In a high-profile Kamal Bhushan murder case, a Ranchi court has sentenced the main accused W Kujur, his son Rahul Kujur, and shooter Kawish Adman to life imprisonment.
Along with the sentence, the court has also imposed a fine of Rs 15,000 on each convict, with a further six months of imprisonment in case of default.
The court of Additional Judicial Commissioner Anand Prakash, while delivering the judgment, acquitted W Kujur's wife Sushila Kujur and prosecution witness-turned-accused Munawar Afaq due to lack of evidence.
The case dates back to the night of May 30, 2022, when prominent land dealer Kamal Bhushan was shot dead near Galaxia Mall on Ratu Road in Ranchi. He was hit by five bullets. The murder was attributed...
