Tripoli, Sept. 15 -- The Special Tasks Force of the Libyan Ministry of Interior, under the internationally recognised Government of National Unity, announced on Sunday the seizure of a factory preparing boats for illegal migration in the Dafniya area of Misrata, located about 200 km east of the Libyan capital Tripoli.
According to a statement on its official Facebook page, the force's investigative unit had monitored the factory and obtained a raid warrant from the Chief Prosecutor for Illegal Migration in western Misrata before the operation.
The statement added that the raid resulted in the confiscation of boats ready for illegal migration, as well as some prohibited items inside the factory.
