Pankaj JainNew Delhi, Feb. 20 -- Delhi Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena has approved the Budget of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) amounting to Rs 14,962 crore for the financial year 2026-27, with the Authority recording a revenue surplus for the third consecutive year.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the DDA chaired by the Lieutenant Governor. The Authority reported a surplus of Rs 2,112 crore in FY 2025-26 up to February 18, 2026, continuing its turnaround after more than a decade of losses. In 2023-24, DDA had posted a surplus of Rs 511 crore under its General Development Account (GDA), reversing a 12-year deficit trend.
