Srinagar, Jan. 13 -- Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday terminated the services of five government employees for their alleged terror links, officials saidWith these five fresh dismissals, the total number of employees terminated under 311(2)(C), which allows the Lt Governor to dismiss employees without ordering an inquiry against them or seeking an explanation, has risen to 87.
The dismissed employees include Mohammad Ishfaq, a teacher; Tariq Ahmad Shah, a laboratory technician; Bashir Ahmad Mir, an assistant lineman; Farooq Ahmad Bhat, a field worker in the Forest Department; and Mohammad Yousf, a driver in the Health Department.
