Srinagar, Sept. 25 -- Ladakh Lieutenant Governor Kavinder Gupta today chaired a high-level security review meeting to assess the emerging situation in the union Territory, which witnessed violent protests yesterday over demands for statehood and inclusion under the Sixth Schedule of the Constitution.
The Lt Governor emphasized the need for heightened vigilance, seamless inter agency coordination, and proactive measures to safeguard peace, security, & public order across Ladakh.
