Leh, Sept. 30 -- Ladakh Lieutenant Governor Kavinder Gupta today reviewed the prevailing law and order situation, lauding security forces for their courage in handling the September 24 violence that left 105 personnel injured, even as he warned that stringent action will be taken against those disturbing peace.

An official spokesman said the meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Pawan Kotwal, Director General of Police S.D. Singh Jamwal, senior officers of the Army, CRPF, and the district administration.

The officials briefed the Lt Governor on the latest developments, security preparedness, and inter-agency coordination to ensure peace and order in the region.
