Leh, Oct. 18 -- Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh Kavinder Gupta on Saturday launched the REWA 2.0 Financial Assistance Scheme in Leh, in order to ensure that youth of the union territory get equal opportunity.

The initiative aims to support 80 meritorious but economically disadvantaged candidates from Leh and Kargil in availing quality coaching for the UPSC Civil Services Examination, an official spokesman said.

Gupta launched the REWA 2.0 Scheme at the LG Secretariat, Leh, in the presence of Administrative Secretary, Higher Education, Bhanu Prabha, and other senior officials of the UT Administration.
