Srinagar, July 28 -- Expressing grief over the deaths due to flashfloods triggered by cloudburst in a village in Jammu's Kishtwar district, Lt Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday said that the operation to rescue and trace missing persons was going on a war-footing.
While four bodies were recovered, several people are missing after a cloudburst triggered flash floods on Wednesday morning in remote village Honjar of Dachhan in Kishtwar.
"Saddened over loss of precious lives due to flash floods caused by cloud burst in Dacchan, Kishtwar. My thoughts are with bereaved families," Mr Sinha wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.
