Srinagar, Sept. 7 -- Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today promised a thorough inquiry into the 2000 Chattisinghpora massacre after meeting a delegation of Sikh organisations.

An official spokesman said a delegation of '35 Shaheed Singhs Welfare Organization, Chattisinghpora' led by its Chairman S. Jagjeet Singh called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, today.

The members of the delegation demanded a fresh probe into the massacre of 35 Sikhs at Chittisinghpora, Anantnag, by Pakistan-sponsored terrorists on March 20, 2000.
