Shimla, Nov. 1 -- A leopard entered a residential colony in Sanjauli, Himachal Pradesh, creating panic among locals.

At 7:20 pm yesterday, the leopard was seen running from a house under construction in Chalonthi, Sanjauli, towards the road.

A CCTV camera installed in the house captured the leopard fleeing across the road, moments before a scooter rider passed by on Batish Colony road. Fortunately, the rider escaped unharmed. The footage of the close encounter has gone viral on social media today.
