Etawah (UP), Nov. 13 -- A leopard rescue centre will be established at the Etawah Safari Park, known internationally as the largest habitat for Asiatic lions, a senior forest department officer said here on Thursday.

Safari Park Director Anil Kumar Patel said that the Etawah Safari Park currently houses 24 leopards and is being well-cared for. "Available resources are being fully utilized. By expanding the infrastructure, a leopard rescue center can be opened. A proposal will be submitted," he said.
