Lucknow, Sept. 21 -- The presence of a leopard in Lucknow's Cantonment area has crested panic among the people after a viral video captured the big cat crossing the road Sunday morning.
The video was apparently recorded by a person on his mobile phone, and spread fast through social media.
Teams from the Forest Department and the Cantonment Board arrived at the scene and began monitoring the area.
A local resident said he sensed movement on the roadside early Sunday morning. As soon as he stopped his car, the leopard appeared. Within seconds, it crossed the road and headed into the forest. He recorded the entire incident on his mobile camera.
