Shimla, Feb. 8 -- Senior BJP leader and MLA Vipin Parmar on Saturday alleged that the Himachal government is not serious about ground-level development and is treating legislative priority meetings as a mere formality.
Speaking to mediapersons outside the Secretariat here today, Parmar said a legislative priority meeting of MLAs from Shimla and Kangra districts was held, during which BJP legislators detailed development-related issues of their constituencies, but the government failed to show any commitment towards their resolution.
Parmar said that major concerns related to the Public Works Department and Water Resources Department, including long-pending Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), were raised in the meeting.
