Shimla, March 19 -- Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu stated in the state assembly on Wednesday that his government is working on a new Anti-drug Act to ensure a person found repeatedly violating the NDPS act would not succeed in getting bail.
Replying to a query raised by the members, the Chief Minister said properties belonging to 17 drug peddlers in the state have been attached and a building constructed by one peddler by selling Chitta has been demolished.
He said three drug peddlers who are engaged in the drug routes from Firojpure-Nurpoor-Kullu-Anni were detained after enforcing effective implementation of PIT NDPS act and the government has ensured that habitual offenders of NDPS act cannot evade the law. "We ...
