Kannur, Jan. 10 -- Communist Party of India (CPI) State secretary Binoy Viswam today said that the Left Front will not protect anyone involved in the Sabarimala gold theft case irrespective of political connections, while inaugurating the delegates' meeting of the 30th State conference of the Kerala Gazetted Officers Federation (KGOF), at Dinesh auditorium here.
Binoy Viswam said "the red flag is not meant to be used as a shield to cover up mistakes. Those who eats salt should drink water."He made it clear that no one - be it political leaders or Tantris - has any right over Ayyappan's gold. "It belongs to the believers," he said.
