Chandigarh, Aug. 21 -- Second seeded pair of Rajeev Ram (USA) and Joe Salisbury (Great Britain) beat Leander Paes (India) and Jonathan Erlich of Israel in straight sets of 6-2, 6-3, in doubles first round match of the $ 717,955 Winston-Salem Open ATP 250 Tour in US on Wednesday. The second seeded pair took just 54 minutes to dispose of the wild card pair.

Paes/Erlich were broken in the first, third and fifth games of the first set as they trailed by 0-5. Ram/Salisbury were broken in the sixth game as Paes/Erlich won their first game in the first set but went on to hold their serve in the seventh game to make it 2-5.
