Leaders pay tributes to Tyagi Immanuel Sekaran on his death anniv

Chennai, Sept. 11 -- Floral tributes were paid to freedom fighter and Tyagi ImmanualSekaran on his death anniversary at his memorial at native Paramakudi in Ramanathapuramdistrict of Tamil Nadu today.

Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin and leaders of various political partiesvisited his memorial at Paramakudi and paid floral tributes.

Mr Udhayanidhi announced that a statue of Immanual Sekaran would be installed inParamakudi soon.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister and DMK President M K Stalin paid rich tributes to Immanualand said his struggles for eradiciation of caste indiscrimination, untouchability, two tumblersystem, still provides a beacon of light for the path of social justice even today.
