Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 24 -- Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Wednesday admitted that the Left Democratic Front (LDF) did not achieve the results it had expected in the recently concluded local body elections.
Talking to newspersons here, he said the party would closely study the outcomes, identify shortcomings, and take corrective measures to improve its performance in future elections.
Addressing a wide range of political issues, Vijayan spoke about the impact of the Sabarimala controversy, the LDF's electoral setbacks, his association with SNDP Yogam General Secretary Vellapally Natesan, and alleged strategies of the opposition.
