Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 9 -- Kerala BJP State President Rajeev Chandrasekhar on Tuesday accused both the CPI(M)-led LDF and the Congress-led UDF of misleading the people of Kerala, claiming that the Chief Minister's recent remarks have indirectly confirmed political support from Jamaat-e-Islami to both fronts.
Chandrasekhar said Jamaat-e-Islami represents a "dangerous political ideology" and alleged that the LDF and UDF have aligned themselves with an organisation that advocates the establishment of an Islamic state.
"It is extremely alarming that such religious extremist groups are being allowed to influence our democratic framework," he said.
