Patna, Jan. 4 -- Chief Justice of India Justice Surya Kant today said the benefits of law should not only be made available to those who can afford it, but it should also reach at the door of those who are in dire need of its applications.
Justice Kant, while addressing the convocation ceremony of Chanakya National Law University(CNLU) here, said that law was not just only for those who could afford it but also for anyone who was in dire need of it.
"Question was not whether a law graduate had learnt the law but it was also necessary how could he reshape it to bend the arc of justice towards the communities who needed it most," he added.
