Prayagraj, April 14 -- Uttar Pradesh Congress President Ajay Rai on Monday alleged that under the Yogi government, there is a jungle and goonda raj in the state, and the law and order situation is completely in shambles.
Before going to meet the family of a Dalit who was immolated in Isota Lohangpur village of Karchana on Saturday night, Rai garlanded the Ambedkar statue near Allahabad High Court and said that under the Yogi government, there is a jungle and goonda raj, and no amount of condemnation would be enough.
He said, "Today is Dr Ambedkar's birth anniversary, a day before that, a Dalit is brutally murdered in Prayagraj. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government of the state talks about law and zero tolerance."
