Patna, March 4 -- Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday alleged that law and order had collapsed during the RJD regime in Bihar and no one dared to come out of his house after Sunset.

Kumar while replying to a debate in the assembly on the address of the Governor to a joint sitting of both Houses of the state legislature, on the opening day of its budget session, said that law and order collapsed during the RJD regime in Bihar. No one could muster the courage to come out of his house during those days, he added.

Chief Minister said that communal violence used to get triggered in Bihar and Muslims were unprotected. The then-ruling party used to get their votes but it was not at all interested in taking steps for checking communal violence...
