Moscow, July 11 -- Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will begin a two-day visit to North Korea on Friday, where he will take part in the second round of strategic dialogue.

Lavrov will arrive in the country from Malaysia, where he met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio the day before.

The minister last visited North Korea in October 2023.

Sergei Shoigu, the Secretary of the Russian Security Council, held a meeting with Kim Jong Un on June 17, noted that the partnership between Russia and North Korea "is being carried out not just on paper, but through practical action."
