Hyderabad, Oct. 23 -- Laurus Labs Ltd, a leading research and development driven pharmaceutical and biotech company in India, on Thursday reported 875 per cent year on year (YoY) growth in net profit at Rs 195 crore for the second quarter ended Sept 30, 2025 against Rs 20 crore in the corresponding period in previous year.

However, Hyderabad based company's revenue during the period stood at Rs 1,653 crore, registering a YoY growth of 35 per cent against Rs 1,224 crore in the same period in previous year.

The major jump in net profit powered by strong execution in its Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) segment and sustained growth in generics.
