Latur (Maharashtra), Sept. 30 -- Congress MLA Amit Deshmukh today reviewed the situation in rain-affected areas and directed government officials to immediately stop water from overflowing on to the road near Koha lake.
He told engineers on duty to regulate the flow of water and take measures to avoid inconvenience to villagers. Besides Koha village, the MLA visited Chandeshwar, where extensive damage to property has occurred due to rains.
He inspected damaged roads and other places and directed officers to take necessary steps.
