Caracas, July 2 -- The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People's Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) on Tuesday strongly condemned the U.S. policy of putting economic aggression and blockade against Cuba.
In a statement, the bloc denounced Washington's decision to reactivate and update Presidential Memorandum No.5 signed by President Donald Trump in 2017, which strengthens the U.S. blockade against Cuba and the imposition of regime change among other things.
The decision signals intensified U.S. attempts to enforce regime change and disrupt Cuba's key sectors, including tourism, healthcare, migration, cultural and academic exchange, and access to technology, said the bloc.
