Chandigarh, Oct. 18 -- Haryana Director General of Police (DGP) OP Singh has issued his third advisory to police officers and personnel, emphasizing the difference between a "crowd" and a "mob" while urging restraint and sensitivity in dealing with public gatherings. In his letter, DGP Singh reminded officers that India's democracy allows space for peaceful protests, marches, and demonstrations, which are legitimate expressions of public sentiment.
