Kochi, April 25 -- The last rites of RSS activist N Ramachandran, who has been gunned down in front of his daughter and grandsons in the Pahalgam terror attack on Tuesday afternoon, were conducted with state honours here on Friday.
He was laid to rest at the Shanthikavadam Crematorium in Edappally. His mortal remains were brought to Cochin International Airport here on Wednesday around 8 pm.
Ramachandran went to Kashmir with his family members including his wife Sheela, daughter Aarti and two grandchildren on April 21.
His body was taken to Changampuzha Park at 7 am for public viewing and then to his residence on Mangattu Road for final respects.
