Rio de Janeiro, July 14 -- Uruguayan forward Thiago Borbas struck in the 97th minute as Bragantino rose to third in Brazil's Serie A standings on Sunday with a 2-1 away victory over Corinthians.



Eduardo Sasha put the visitors ahead by converting a penalty after central defender Caca brought down forward Vinicinho with a high tackle.



Caca then made amends for his earlier mistake, heading home from close range after the ball rebounded into his path following a corner.



Bragantino regained its lead through Borbas, who fired a first-time shot past Hugo Souza following a scramble inside the six-yard box.
