Larji power project in Kullu restored
Shimla, May 18 -- In a major boost to Himachal Pradesh's power sector, the 126 MW Larji Hydroelectric Power Project in Kullu district has been fully restored and is now operational, less than two years after it was severely damaged in the catastrophic Beas River floods of July 2023.
The timely revival of the project, undertaken by the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited (HPSEBL) has not only prevented potential revenue losses but is now set to generate additional income for the board.
