Vientiane, July 1 -- The weather bureau of Laos has issued a warning to all communities and local authorities to remain vigilant and prepare for continuous rainfall from July 1 to 3, which may lead to landslides and flash floods.
The Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, under the Lao Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, issued a notice on Tuesday warning of widespread light to moderate rain, with heavy rainfall expected in parts of the northern, central, and southern provinces.
The notice urges all communities and local authorities to remain vigilant and prepared, as continuous rainfall could trigger flash floods, river overflows, and landslides, posing serious risks to lives and property.
