Dehradun, July 30 -- Chardham Yatra to Kedranath Shrine was once again suspended today amidst massive landslide on pedestrian route between Sonprayag and Gaurikund.
Rudraprayag district administration had to suspend pilgrimage as a huge mass of hilltop slided down blocking 1.5 kilometers of the road.
Sharing the information, state disaster management department said that Sonprayag-Gaurikund trekking route got blocked due to a massive landslide triggered due to heavy rainfall in Kedar Valley for some days.
Landslide occurred on Tuesday as a large area of the hill, approximately 1.5 kilometer, collapsed and came down ahead of Munkatiya leading to a complete blockade of Rudraprayag-Gaurikund National Highway. This has halted pilgrim move...
