Hanoi, Aug. 13 -- A landslide triggered by heavy rain left two people dead in central Vietnam's Lam Dong province on Tuesday, the local newspaper Tuoi Tre (Youth) reported.

According to the report, the talus behind a temporary house suddenly collapsed, sending soil and rocks into a coffee shop and killing two customers.

Local authorities cordoned off the area and were assisting the victims' families with funeral arrangements, the report said.
