Hanoi, Oct. 18 -- Rescue workers were fighting against time in Vietnam to find 11 soldiers of the country's 4th Military Region whose barracks were buried by a huge landslide on Sunday, even as the country battles its worst floods in years. So far the rescuers have pulled out 11 dead bodies from the remains of the barracks in the central province of Quang Tri, BBC reported. The landslide which happened in the early hours of Sunday morning sounded like "exploding bombs" an official said. Vietnam has been hit by heavy rainfall in the past week, causing floods and landslides which have killed at least 70 people around the country.
