Kangra, Sept. 16 -- A landslide was triggered on the Pathankot-Mandi National Highway near Kangra Airport, following incessant overnight rainfall in the Kangra Valley.

The mudslide, along with boulders, blocked the national highway this morning as the region experienced continuous rain through the night.

A large number of vehicles were stranded on both sides of the landslide site, and a dozer was pressed into service to clear the debris and restore traffic.
