Bhubaneswar, Dec. 4 -- The land acquisition exercise for the development of two non-major ports is currently underway in Odisha, Commerce and Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhusan Jena told the Assembly in a written reply on Thursday.
The proposed non-major ports Subarnarekha (Balasore district) and Astaranga (Puri district) are under the jurisdiction of the state government. It has signed concession agreements with Subarnarekha Private Limited and Nabaryug Engineering Company Limited for the development of these two non-major ports, the Minister responded to a query by BJD MLA Arun Kumar Sahoo.
Similarly a concession agreement has been signed for setting up a captive jetty for the JSW Utkal Steel Limited's proposed Integrated Steel Plant at ...
